My paintings often begin in darkness. Through many layers, built slowly over time, light begins to reveal itself little by little.
Pondering this, I realize that my painting process mirrors life itself.
Even in seasons of darkness, beauty is still there—waiting quietly for the light to shine and remind us that what emerges comes from the heart.
No matter how difficult the season, we continue creating, pouring our heart and soul onto the canvas. Not because it makes our sorrows disappear, but because as life goes on, so does our creativity.
And sometimes, in the process of creating, we discover that the light was there all along.
