Inspired by a creative painting challenge with my friend Ryan (@mygoldenbungalow), Midnight Callas is my interpretation of a shared reference photo that became two completely different works of art.
Painted in a single, intuitive session, this original acrylic embraces expressive brushwork, rich contrast, and luminous magenta calla lilies emerging from a deep, moody background. It’s a celebration of spontaneity and the joy of painting without overthinking the process.
